I have had three pairs of Brasher boots, bought in the UK in the mid-90s. My latest pair has finally given up the ghost after 15 years of faithful (though intermittent, since having a family) service in Tasmanian wilderness (snow, rocks, mud etc.). I have tried other boots, but Brashers are the most comfortable for my problematic feet. I wear orthotics and have problems with a neuroma; I get much pain if I don't have a nice flexible sole in a boot. Does anyone in Australia stock them? I need a new pair!

Yes, the GTX's were a great pair of boots. I'll have to check out the new design.

I own an identical pare of chris brasher boots that I purchased in Devon way back in 2002. They were the best boots I have ever owned but in 2006 I had a family member send me a new pair of the new design GTX to Tasmania and they are still going strong. Mind you, they have very few miles on them given the old pair walked all over western europe and north africa.
